I have been using it for 10 months already, and loving it! I am using the Firefox extension to quickly add entries and the Android app to read them on the go. Although I am self-hosting a lot, I am using the https://wallabag.it https://wallabag.it hosted version (9€/year) to support the author. When adding an entry, the server downloads the page and extracts the relevant text to display in "reader mode". This works very well for almost every site, but of course fails to get into medium's walled garden. I'm not blaming the author for not playing the cat and mouse game though, there's more important things to do in life.
