Sometimes efforts at anti-racism result in stupid and counter productive behaviors and activities. Therefore anti-racism is bad.
People think this is a reasonable position? That anti-racism should be resisted? Anti-racism is synonymous with human decency.
There are countless examples of black and brown people being disadvantaged by their race in the United States, but let's ignore it because an affinity group excluded white people. Makes so much sense.
- zozbot234 5y agoYes, the article is using "anti-racism" as a term of art but that of course leaves it open to this kind of criticism. I suppose one ought to use something more precise like "prejudicial anti-racism" or the like. Since 'prejudice' is the individual attitude that's ultimately leading to these problematic behaviors on the anti-racist side.
