Your go-to reaction is thinking someone dressed up as an Ontario Police officer - which is illegal to do that - and was recorded on film doing that illegal act?

Your go-to reaction is thinking someone dressed up as an Ontario Police officer - which is illegal to do that - and was recorded on film doing that illegal act?
Let me ask: if this is real, if proven to be real, what would your reaction or thoughts then be? It sounds like you'd find it to be a very serious thing to do, so much so that you think someone was trying to fabricate it?
Edit to add:
I looked up the officer's name, the name she gave when asked. She earns over $100,000 - as do most (if not all) police - and so her salary is public record and on what's called the "Sunshine list" of public salaries above $100,000:
Erika Ingram
Position: Law Enforcement Officer / Agente d’exécution de la loi
Employer: Ontario Provincial Police
Category of Employment: Government of Ontario — Ministries
Salary Benefits Position
$131,533.19 paid in 2020 $141.00 Law Enforcement Officer / Agente d’exécution de la loi
Ontario Provincial Police
$106,863.71 paid in 2019 $130.12 Law Enforcement Officer
Ontario Provincial Police
So at minimum there's a registered officer with that name; I don't care to search for photos of the officer via Facebook or other means - but feel free to, or please call the OPP to confirm if this is a real officer, and a real visit, and report back to us here since you're so concerned it's fake.
- msie 5y agoWe will see what happens. We should all be concerned if it's fake or not. The video is published by someone who publishes a lot of FREEDOM Convoy videos. The convoy says we shouldn't trust the mainstream media. So why should I trust videos that they publish, without scrutiny?
- msie 5y agoAlso, protesters shouldn't rely on the "I didn't know" excuse for protesting illegally. If this is indeed real it might be the OPP's way of covering their ass when they start arresting everyone. In which case they don't mind being recorded handing out the pamphlets to certain prominent protesters.
