What a shame. Would love if they left.
- irrational 5y agoSame everywhere. The world would be so much better without Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, WeChat, LinkedIn, etc.
- hn_version_0023 5y agoAgreed. With so many centralized services making up what the average person thinks of as “the Internet”, if the centralized services disappear, isn’t that the same as “turning off the Internet”? I wonder if there’s a threshold yet to be crossed where “shutting down the Internet” becomes a fad? Where people begin abandoning social media en masse? This idea actually makes me a bit hopeful!
