I've seen multiple people pointing this out, but completely ignoring the next sentence.

I don't have anything else to say but I wanted to put it here for context.
- rbanffy 5y agoTests are also useful as a form of documentation. They explicitly exercise all plausible interfaces the developers expect to be used. I'm not sure how formally verifying things continue to be correct after a change (which could be to a dependency) can be automated and scaled.
