- pjmlp 5y agoMonogame has some support from Microsoft, https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/apps/games/ecosystem https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/apps/games/ecosystem But the problem is the WinDev silo, they are pretty much against anything not C++/COM. XNA died because when Phil Spencer left, no one else cared and naturally XNA got rewritten in C++ as DirectXTK.
