Being in an iCloud family does suppress the tracking notifications.
- asadlionpk 5y agoThat must be recent.
- jasongill 5y agoagreed - my wife and I still get alerts about each others keys being with us. I wish there was a way to actually see the location of other family member's AirTags, so that I can find my wife's keys with my device. It's annoying that we can see eachother's phones and Macs in the Find My app but can't see eachother's AirTags.
- throwaway932489 5y agoi.e. completely stop or just reduce? Because I was going to say it would make sense for the "threat model" to go beyond "traditional" stalking to domestic abuse etc.
- hackmiester 5y agoCompletely stop.
- coolspot 5y agoNot true, you will receive notifications as usual. You can choose to supress indefenitly. Source: have iCloud family with like 10 airtags.
- aczerepinski 5y agoI don’t think so. My wife and I are iCloud family and I still get alerts every time I drive the car without her. Of the four pack I bought one is useful for finding my keys, one is a PITA in our car, and two I never got around to using.
- alkonaut 5y agoReally? Since which iOS? I got them as late as yesterday on a famly members' phone.
