I can see how when say medium which is dealing with curated data from my sources could benefit from leveraging a BlockChain or like solution,
To coin that Web 3.0 goes too far in my opinion, as I believe there are many scenarios where one would not want or need this dependency.

- smt88 5y agoHow would it guard against plagiarism? A blockchain can log the timestamp of a certain article, but there is still no proof that it was the first. You could also accomplish the same thing (verifiable digital timestamp of a text) by emailing the article to multiple people through a major email provider like Gmail.
