Supply-side economics is demand-constrained so the game is all about the monopolization of consumers... Which is good for advertising. Under a demand side economy, nobody has priority access to cheap capital so the constraint is on the production side (this is more natural)... So acquisition of consumers is a secondary concern. It's more about product quality and production efficiency. It's not feasible to fool consumers with artificially deflated prices (subsidized by cheap capital from above) and spamming of ads.
