If you are great at conceptualising and want a "simpler" job, potentially a solutions architect could be a nice fit.
- giantg2 5y agoThanks! I would have to look outside my company for those. I have been browsing and applied to a couple great options (didn't get them). I'd rather not leave my company because tech jobs in the area are sparse (my company is one of the biggest), my wife won't relocate, and I'm not great with staying focused on remote work (would probably improve if it were consistent and/or interesting work). Looking internally is basically out of the question since I got a further development needed rating as a mid-level.
