Public education was fought for with the blood, sweat, tears and lives of our fore fathers. The argument that education has now become a mechanism of the unvirtuous to excel above their countrymen is hogwash. Men without conscience will exploit their neighbors regardless of social standing.
Most arguments against higher learning are nothing more than an easy out for unmotivated people to use. A person who works hard at learning any skill WILL be successful but that is a strawman argument used against going to university.
Also the idea that universities are corrupting the young minds of our children is a LIE told by and believed by fools that either have not gone to it, or worse have and are using their education to convince others not to. I am always amazed at how arrogant people can be in thinking their google search is as valuable as a formal education.
The button is to the left for all those who are offended, I didn't learn that in school either.
