Thank you, you articulated that better than I could. I've used a wide range of CAD software over the years, and they're often a clunky mess. OpenSCAD is something I'd like to explore but if I could achieve much the same outcome with Blender, which I know quite well then it may not be worth the effort. I've used the python API a lot and now I'm getting excited by Geometry Nodes.
