Ask HN: Which widescreen LCD do you use and why?
- techdragon 5y ago2 x Gigabyte G27QC monitors. - Slight curve helps with eye strain when working with 2 monitors side by side. - Better than 1080p resolution - Light enough to fit my monitor arms while almost as large as the arms will fit. - Good feature set with things like a Picture in Picture mode which is handy when you hook them up to two desktops like I have. - Affordable price point compared to more high res displays. - I was able to get the matched pair from a store locally where I have a warranty and physical stores for pickup to ensure a big breakable object doesn't need to risk "free shipping" or any other arbitrary overseas shipping for any warranty/RMA for potential future issues.
