Tesla design chief says ‘there’s nothing left to look forward to’ from Apple
- byoung2 5y agoI've been really impressed by Samsung (especially the new folding phones and curved screens) the way I used to be impressed by Apple. Was Steve Jobs really the driving force behind all innovation at Apple?
- manuelabeledo 5y agoThis is an odd take, coming from the design head of a company notorious for making mostly terrible usability choices, e.g. screen-only car controls, and hasn't had an exciting car design until the arrival of the Cybertruck.

- logicalmonster 5y agoApple isn't the same exact company it was with Steve Jobs, but they still have loads of clever employees. I think speculating that Apple is basically done innovating other than refining their existing stuff is the least imaginative opinion possible. For instance, I think that they have the tools in place to do amazing stuff with Augmented Reality in a way that people might actually want to use. While Zuckerberg is puttering about doing the blandest and most cringe possible metaverse stuff, Apple might be able to do something that bridges the real world with the virtual.
