This is why I love Ansible. As a DevOps enigneer I do not design or implement complex systems or programs. But I am responsible for the reliability of our systems and infrastructure. And Ansible is just pleasant to use for the same reasons stated by the author: - a single packaged without any additional dependencies - no client side software - pure SSH - simple playbooks written in only YAML Focusing on simplicity and maintainabilty has helped me deliver reliable systems.
