"Amazon and Google’s pledges ranked low for ‘integrity’" lol yeah no kidding. There is zero chance that companies will put the fate of the planet and the poor above their profit line unless they are forced to comply. I don't believe for even a second that Amazon failed to set specific targets for greenhouse gas emissions per year to reach their supposed net-zero emissions by 2040 on accident.
- serverlessmom 5y agoThat does seem to be the over all problem with progress towards the environmental goals that are necessary for our long term survival as a species. Every time we uncover that a company is doing something that is actively shirking responsibility the blame gets shifted onto the individual consumer instead, via Merchants of Doubt.
