As a cyclist, I view self driving cars as one of my biggest wins in terms of safety relative to the easily distracted monkeys who drive them now. Sad to see Tesla doing damage to the overall effort with their GSD approach to it. Hope they don't salt the earth behind them. Seems like Google, Cruise and co are doing well enough here to make it look like a tesla problem as opposed to a self driving car problem.
