I think one could reasonably say that a car shouldn't be expected to save the driver from all situations when the self-driving features are just a backup system

I think one could reasonably say that a car shouldn't be expected to save the driver from all situations when the self-driving features are just a backup system and the driver is expected to be in control. However, those features shouldn't cause unsafe situations all by itself, like the example video of the car trying to swerve into a bicyclist.
