You must be unfamiliar with the usual consequences of a driver killing cyclist(s)
- wcarron 5y agoYep. Cyclists are murdered/manslaughtered with regularity by drivers who recieve zero punishment, and the cyclists and their families receive zero justice. Not just average schmucks in the US, either. Professional cyclists like Michele Scarponi are killed in the EU, too, by a driver using their phone. I forget the results of that case. But cyclists rarely receive the protection of laws that supposedly exist for that purpose.
