FYI, SWIM means "somebody who isn't me", often used on drugs forums.
- pnut 5y agoIn that case, it sounds just like transparent obfuscation in the vein of "asking for a friend"
- wholinator2 5y agoIt's been a long time since I heard anyone say SWIM. I thought we all recognized that it wouldn't hold in a legal context and was thus unnecessary. I dont know if it was true but I distinctly remember that conversation happening at least a couple times in a couple places and the use of SWIM fading out after.
