Hopefully Linux on the M1 won’t introduce big issues. I remember daily driving a MacBook Pro 2014 or so and it was pretty horrible .

- deeg 5y agoI have Ubuntu on a ~2017 MBP and except for the camera it works great. I had to fiddle with a few settings for quite a while to get sleep mode working well but other than that no problems. If I could get an M1 working as well with Ubuntu I'd switch in a second (currently on a Thinkpad).
