I prefer to open with: 2*3+8=14 or 84/7-5=7. I find it tremendous important to find which place the equals sign is in while eliminating operators and digits.

- Kinrany 5y ago3*4+-7=5 and 10=8/2+6 cover everything but 9.
- bhelkey 5y agoOoh, that is good. I figured that +- would be invalid but nerdle accepts it.
- aardvark179 5y ago9 * 6 - 3 = 51 and 28 / 4 + 0 = 7 will cover everything and allow you to determine the = position.
- bhelkey 5y agoThat is fantastic, kudos to you for finding a way to cover those extra two digits. I am going to use this opener.
