I've had an interviewer literally stop the interview to give me career advice when I told him I was a generalist. His advice was that whenever he hears about someone who's a full stack generalist he knows they aren't that good. His advice was to specialize and get really really good at something. Keep in mind I'm super senior. Much older than most people in this industry.
