  well in our present world potentially everything communicated has a global audience, but it would seem a losing strategy to try to make every prerequisite of every idea understood by everyone who might ever encounter your communication because you would never get to the idea itself but instead be stuck in one of those silly comedy routines where someone says start at the beginning and the protagonist says "so, first I was born..." on edit: in other words, just because something might end up uploaded to YouTube there's no obligation to dumb it down.
