The level of education required to do anything was also much lower. Even 20 years ago you could get a job programming without a degree but now you a PHD just to get past HR. Times have changed.

- philliphaydon 5y agoIt was a generalisation. But it’s true some places bin your cv if you don’t have a degree even if you’ve got heaps of experience.
- FanaHOVA 5y agoThe bias towards accreditation was much higher 20 years ago than it is today.
