Why are people so obsessed with NASA's worm logo? (2020)
- vagrantJin 5y agoIm in a third world country and its everywhere. 99% of the people wearing it would not tell me what NASA even stands for. But I would also guess the Nasa Bomber jackets made popular by Alpha industries went mainstream on the big fashion mags. Hypebeast, GQ amd celebs pushed Alpha industries and its close ties to NASA. I've always wanted to buy the mission patches from Nasa, roscosmos since way back in 09, so it was good and weird to see NASA worm as the pinnacle of cool
- throwntoday 5y agoIt reflects a different time when man aspired to do great things purely for the love of the challenge it presented. IMO the worm logo has more soul to it than the modern one.
