I had marginal performance degradation, but that may be due to the specific techniques I use it for, but there definitely was a change southward, just not anywhere nearly as poor as I'm hearing from others. Inkscape is still very usable/utile, but I certainly don't want that trend to continue, as it would rapidly become not so.
