The Crypto Backlash Is Booming
- Comevius 5y agoI especially don't like how crypto holders are hitching their wagons to monetizing and corporatizing the Web further and hiding this fact behind idealistic promises of decentralization, just so they can get rid of their tulips at a higher price. They need a steady supply of fools, so they are trying to repackage the tulips, it's an NFT, it's a decentralized Web, it's an egalitarian future. But it's all about the cryptocurrencies, and people are only incentivized to get theirs in such a zero-sum game. This derails actual progress. Be wary of anyone selling you utopia. Be wary of mysticism. Be wary of the snake oil salesman.
