It’s Back: Senators Want Earn IT Bill to Scan All Online Messages
- ozfive 5y agoThis obviously a slippery slope that the EFF is luckily tracking. Child abuse is wrong but this is sweeping draconian legislation that is obviously against search and seizure is going to turn this country into China but worse. Why is it that almost every politician has some angle of attacking the fundamental rights of the people of this country? Search warrants are legal. This is unconstitutional.
- stjohnswarts 5y agoThis is what we have to keep fighting against. When you hear "it's for the children" back away slowly and got to your nearest internet terminal and donate $50 each to ACLU and EFF and write your congress critters for good measure. All you have to do for a real-time example of what this leads to is look at what the CCP is doing to Uighurs.
