Eh, freeing it from whom? From my perspective, they're the ones trying to capture all of the World's information...
- ericd 15y agoThey want to index it, but in using that info, it typically sends the user to other sites. Facebook generally tries to discourage leaving Facebook. That's the big difference. It's freeing you to explore the wilds of the web.
