QuickDown for even faster Markdown capture (iOS)
- taurusnoises 5y agoI'm not affiliated with the site, but this seems like something many in here would be into. Global pop-up for quick capture, locally saves md files anywhere on your computer (ie into your Obsidian vault), no need to open Obsidian to capture quick notes. Desktop only.

I built QuickDown for myself for "keyboard-first, local markdown note-taking" I _personally_ use Obsidian afterwards to connect, edit and publish my notes, but it works just as well with other editors (for example: LogSeq, VS Code, iA Writer, Zettlr, TiddlyWiki and any other plain-text based writing process, really) Any questions please feel free to ask! PS: To avoid confusion regarding platform – Can you please change the title to macOS instead of iOS. Thanks!
