New COVID-19 Wastewater Surveillance tab displays data on SARS-CoV-2 RNA levels
- encryptluks2 5y agoThe Portland, Oregon area, the one with laws requiring masks almost everywhere you go has some the strongest levels. And places like Florida where masks are not mandated even at public schools has some of the lowest. Makes you really question what the heck the government is doing except destroying the economy and causing shortages.
- cbhl 5y agoNote that the graph defaults to "15-day percent change" -- if you switch to "15-day detection proportion" you can see that 98% of sites are reporting 100% detection in wastewater. (You can also see this in the data table.)
- encryptluks2 5y agoIt still seems to indicate that the amount of COVID is decreasing in some of the areas with less restrictions and increasing on areas with the most.
