Can someone please retitle this to "Building a multi-million dollar mansion in the woods"? "Modern home" makes it sound quaint and interesting. Instead this is just someone throwing a lot of money at a giant dwelling.
- sdflhasjd 5y agoYes, I was hoping for something more insightful around DIY, costs and sustainability. Instead it's an article with some nice pictures that mostly boils down to "pay someone else to do it" and I almost laughed when I got to the bit where they were using too much electricity and their solution is just to burn more gas :/
