Most of the time engine braking is banned within US city limits, there are signs posted outside of towns "No engine braking".
- rootusrootus 5y agoIt varies by region, I'm sure, but every sign I've ever seen prohibiting engine braking has been specific that only unmuffled engine braking is prohibited.
- hunterb123 5y agoNo they aren't allowed whether they are muffled or not if it says "no engine breaking".
