- Hokusai 5y agoSo, it has a sensor that is also a solar cell. > We believe such a device can play a vital role in emerging fields such as wearable imaging, sensor networks, smart environments, and the Internet of things. How is this better than to have an actual solar cell generating energy that can be used for more things that the camera itself? Micro solar cells are already produced and benefit from economy of scale as can be used for many things. Really cool project, but the commercial goals seem off.
