  ...What the hell is this excrement? One doesn't 'help' by simply opting to not maximize consumption of a finite resource to an overall wasteful end. On the surface, yes, but in the end, no. This is like taking the example of people remembering to shut off the water from their taps while brushing their teeth, and saying that a company that somehow makes profit while leaving their taps open 100% of the time is actually doing something constructive for society. There are pathological cases in our market where profitsbility persists despite externalizing costs on everyone else. God bless.
