DoorDash sets their own prices irrespective of restaurant pricing (not just say a flat rate % increase across all items). Maybe a restaurant that works with DoorDash can control but more often than not, the two differ. To be fair, this is not just a DoorDash thing. Most food delivery apps do this. GrubHub seems to be the cheapest near me right now, besides ordering directly. I try to order my pickup orders directly over the phone. The apps take a serious cut from the restaurants... most of which are probably already struggling right now to begin with.
