Yeah, the general public has bad priorities, why aren't we spending every cent on finding the cure to cancer? Surely figuring out the cure to cancer is more important than Marvel movies or the next Call of duty? Well, the average person's wallet doesn't think so. If we take this line of thinking to the extreme we should all be eating soylent brand gruel and eating a couple vitamins and all our excess output should go into finding the cure to any and all diseases.
