I wouldn't expect this to happen. It's like hoping software will shift back to writing C++. Everyone moved on for a reason, and the people that make up the industry as a whole simply don't have the skillset (or willingness) for that kind of work. You'll see the occassional autur/indie production, but at blockbuster scale? Never again.
