FBI urges temporary phones for Olympic athletes
- MisterSandman 5y agoI would never visit a country where I have to use a temporary phone. Why are we sending our athletes and supporting a country where such a thing is required?
- mra0 5y agoYou realize that the US is a country to which people bring temporary phones too, due to potential border searches? (see e.g. https://legalservicesincorporated.com/immigration/border-phone-search/ https://legalservicesincorporated.com/immigration/border-pho...)
- 0xdeadb00f 5y agoSo does Australia, and I'm willing to bet the UK as well.
- MisterSandman 5y agoThere's a difference between some people choosing to bring a temporary phone to the US, and a government asking all travellers to XYZ country to use a temporary phone.
