Without even mentioning CGI, just modern digital color grading is wide open to abuse. "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" was absolutely mangled by the director. The colors are really distorted and awful. It looks nothing like the other movies in the series. Worse, it is otherwise a good movie.
