Matrix v1.2 Specification
- Gigachad 5y agoHow will the uri links work? I tried one and it gave me an error in safari that the link is invalid. Obviously this is because safari doesn’t support matrix: links. But will it ever? Will other software ever support matrix links?
- gefhfffh 5y agoIt works already on my phone with Edge
- rektide 5y agoIt should eventually get on the registerProtocolHandler whitelist. https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/Navigator/registerProtocolHandler/Web-based_protocol_handlers https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/Navigator/r... Would be nice if matrix, like, foresaw this difficulty, and added web+matrix: as an official uri. Which would mean it would be far easier to support.
- rektide 5y agoso many broken links. was quite enticed reading about improves rooms/spaces. great that matrix is finally joining the internet at large & defining some urls for itself: a huge sign of maturity for me, that matters a lot.
