It's because you're very nostalgic for the movies of your childhood. And you listed three classics, when that era produced a lot of trash as well. That's all fine, certainly not a bad thing, but that's where the bias comes from.
- krnlpnc 5y agoNah it's not about them being classics, just widely known examples. I prefer even old grindhouse trash (that I haven't seen until fairly recently) over the nonstop modern day CGI drenched sequels and reboots.
