Didn’t Hotz publicly give up on self driving and say driver assistance is all that will ever be possible?
- LegitShady 5y agoIf its what I think you're saying, he mentioned that its a question of liability. If your car is 'driver assistance' then you don't have liability for accidents. If your car is 'self driving' then now you're going to get sued every accident. So instead you're always 'driver assistance' just from the risk analysis perspective.
