I have 10 years of university education specifically in NLP culminating in a Ph.D. from the University of Cambridge and a position as casual lecturer on machine learning at another university. I mostly work on projects that involve: * natural language processing * mathematical modelling & data fitting * visualization * creation of dashboards & reporting infrastructure For my next career move I'm trying to get in on the ground floor of a truly early-stage venture. The stage I'm looking for is so early that, frankly, you shouldn't contact me if the thought of giving me more than 30% equity in your company makes you uncomfortable. I have a bit of cash runway, so I wouldn't initially require cash compensation, and could even put up some cash. In addition to being an NLP expert, I also try to be a generalist and all-round useful person to have around a small business. Admin stuff like bookkeeping, banking, interfacing with public administration etc. are all things that I have been routinely doing for the last 10 years for my own one-person legal entity. I'd be perfectly happy to help out with such things on behalf of any early-stage venture that I might get involved with.
