MS is in more verticals than Apple is. It would be easier to sympathize with them if they didn't do literally the exact same thing they accuse Apple of. The Xbox in-game purchase cut is 30%, the Windows Store cut is 15/30%. They pioneered the pay-to-play digital certification/app-signing racket. They're just mad they're not the one collecting rents.
