Two-time founding engineer with ~10 years industry experience and current YC CTO on the startup engineering consulting circuit. I provide pre-seed, seed round and series A-B startups with strategic advice, technical services, and solutions, such as:
* How to build and structure an engineering org for success with limited resources
* Managing technical debt before (and after) it accrues
* SOC 2 / HIPAA / SEC 17a-4 compliance (also how to build a SOC 2 compliant app from the ground up)
* How and where to hire top-notch engineers and technical leadership (I have also interviewed senior and C-level candidates for 5+ YC orgs)
* Platform architecture design, review, and feedback
* Cracking the YC interview (from an engineering/architecture perspective)
Overall I have worked with over 30 startups of varying sizes, many from YC. The vast majority have moved on to series A and beyond.
Give me a problem and I'll find a solution!
