I grew up spending summers on a farm, and my brother lives on a small acreage raising bees and chickens. I know my limits. Even today, I own 6 fruit trees (plum, apple, asian pear, cherry) on my property and they are a pain. I hired a tree specialist to help me, and my fruit output is terrible. Mostly battling the codling moths. I do enjoy it when we get some good plums in, though, and for me that's enough.
