I recently bit the bullet and started building my first SaaS. It’s an ordering tool for restaurants I am building with Django + HTMX. If I order out I usually phone the place directly because delivery app markup (plus delivery fees) are ridiculous where I live. Then I pickup. But I’m really not into phone conversations, for reasons. There’s already established products but I feel there’s space in the market where I’m at. At the moment I’m doing market research (talking to local restaurant owners) and designing the user journeys. Reach out username at gmail if you’re interested in chatting about it.
