If democratic countries build more nuclear power plants, then won't that encourage less democratic countries to also build nuclear power plants, and then eventually nuclear weapons? "We're not making nuclear weapons, only nuclear power plants" is what countries like Iran say. And many other countries would like them to stop. I'm not agreeing or disagreeing, just giving a wider perspective.
